PRE-DRYWALL INSPECTIONS

Pre-drywall or “Stage 2” inspections are completed when a brand new home is being built. This takes place once the home’s framing, wiring, plumbing, HVAC, and other critical systems are in place, but before drywall is installed. This inspection gives our licensed professionals the opportunity to carefully evaluate the structural framing, mechanical systems, fire-blocking, and safety features while they are still fully visible. Identifying issues at this stage helps ensure proper installation, code compliance, and long-term performance, providing homeowners with confidence that their new home is being built correctly before it’s sealed behind the walls.

BUILDER'S WARRANTY INSPECTIONS

Oftentimes after purchasing a newly built home, your builder will provide a one-year builder’s warranty. A builder’s warranty inspection is performed near the end of your new home’s one-year builder warranty period to document any defects or concerns before coverage expires. Our licensed inspectors carefully evaluate the home’s structural, mechanical, and safety components—to identify issues that may have developed during the first year of occupancy. This inspection provides homeowners with a detailed report to present to the builder, helping ensure that necessary repairs are addressed while the home is still under warranty.
